Terrain: Rock Wall, Fish Pier, Docks
Description: The area around the UMASS Boston campus is part of the DCR harbor walk. The harbor walk stretches over such a vast area that it provides a plethora of fishing terrain. Much of the UMASS part of the harbor walk is raised above the water at a level that makes it fish like a pier. Direct water access is limited so expect to have to haul your fish up quite a ways before you can get your hands on it. I would recommend going to check out this area when the tide is out. I have a map that I drew of the area at low tide in the notebook that I carry fishing with me. There are several sandbars within about 20 ft. of the water edge. I try to hit the edge of these sandbars when fishing this spot.
